A
CALL TO UNITE AND CHANGE ATTITUDE
Not one single day goes by, without we getting
news about the occurrence in Venezuela of some weird
happening out of the normal and in contradiction
with the universally known praxis of conflict solving. As
a general rule there is no reaction whatsoever from the competent
authorities. It seems that the authorities react only when the
matter gets media coverage or becomes a public scandal, that might
put en jeopardy their jobs. The
reasons are many, of which it is convenient to name the following:
1)
The ROTTENNESS of the major part
of the Lower Courts and of the Regional District Attorneys and
the DISFUNCTION of the State apparatus,
which have reach such extent that the aberrant cases are counted
by tens of thousands a day.
2)
The habit of not to comply with ones obligations or to
do so only when the affected person is a wealthy one or one
with power o when there has been a public scandal. The PEOPLE
as always can wait. It has waited in the past and it will continue
to wait, because deep in the subconscience of the Venezuelan
collectivity, is incrusted the awful custom that such person
or another, for belonging to the high society or being connected
to the political power is considered to be INTOUCHABLE,
and thus is believed to be worth more than a person who has
been marginalized or who does not have financial means.
In the majority of the civilized world countries,
when a serious case is brought to the knowledge of the of high
standing government officials, these Officials will initiate an
investigation, they will contact the interested parties, informing
them about what will happen with the case, the steps to be taken
in order to solve it, the name of the person that had been appointed
to deal with it, take care of the follow up or assume the coordination
of the State bodies involved with it.
In Venezuela it is not like that, only if you happen to be patronized
by some friend or “compadre” of some chieftain from
the government. Thus, the criminal or offender, being aware of
the seriousness of the offense, at the moment that he or she finds
out that the victim is not an easy or docile one, starts moving
the pieces of the chess game of friendly relations, godfathering
and CORRUPTION.
Worst is the situation of any FOREIGNER,
who because of “bad luck” or ingenuity
has fallen into the hands of the may MAFIAS
that operate in the country with the complicity and the “bene
placito” of functionaries ascribed to Organisms
and Institutions of the Venezuelan State.
It is our custom that any critic, we make, should
be CONSTRUCTIVE,
aimed at calling the attention of the competent persons, to whom
it corresponds to act in order to investigate or make the necessary
corrections.
It is as well our custom not to hide anything
and present things as they are. We consider that the internal
conflicts that have not been solved are the worst that can happen
to a Nation. The general characteristic that they have is that
they tend to amplify themselves, turn violent, generate chaos,
create frustrations, lack of confidence in the government. As
collateral, they do destroy the production apparatus and generate
wounds that are difficult to heal even once said conflicts are
over.
For these reasons, we reiterate our calling to
our fellow citizens in Venezuela, government sympathizers and
oppositors, to UNITE
and work together for peace and the construction of the country,
NOT FOR ITS DESTRUCTION.
A lot has to
be done in order to get Venezuela on its keel again out of the
abyss, where it is now by the hand of its own people.
Beyond the ideological differences, many areas exist, where the
parties can work together in order to build a better future for
their children and grand children, such as the Judiciary
reform, the Health sector and Education. It is what
we crave for and wish to happen for the sake of the good of the
country.
We will continue to fight CORRUPTION
in the JUDICIAIRY and the PUBLIC
ADMINISTRATION. To such effect and starting this
month, we have decided to put at the disposition of the cybernauts
impacting documents and information about the ROTTENNESS
of the JUDICIAIRY SYSTEM and the PUBLIC
ADMINISTRATION in Venezuela. These will be exposed under
the button “DOCUMENTOS”.
